Hey friends!! How are you? It has been kind of crazy around here lately. Our little girlie turned 3 months on Sunday, which just happened to be our 6th wedding anniversary too! Jonny and I have been together 12 and a half years and I can’t believe we have already been married for 6 years.. time is just flying by. And now my little baby is already 3 months… does that mean I don’t have a newborn anymore? Yall, my heart cannot handle it. I need her to stop growing right now. But, I will say, each day gets more fun with her and she has really become so much more aware this last month, which has been really cute. She has started really noticing and following the doggies which is too sweet.
This dress was my sister’s dress when she was a little girl.

We took her for a check up last week and she was almost 13 lbs and in the 76 percentile for weight… LOL… let’s just say this girlie has come a long way from the 10th percentile when she was born… she likes to eat!! Her little chunky arms and legs just kill me. ๐

My mom has been in town the last week and yall, it has been so wonderful. We are sending Mimi a formal invitation to move in with us. LOL. She just loves little Francy and is the biggest help with her. We are so so lucky.
I officially went back to work last week, which is so bittersweet. I can’t believe my maternity leave has come to an end, but I am excited to be back in a routine and on a schedule. My mom has been here helping us with the transition. I work from home (prior to covid) and my husband is working from home (due to covid) so it hasn’t been too big of an adjustment. Next week we have a nanny starting to watch Francy each day while we work so it will be really nice to have her with us all day so I can sneak some kisses. I don’t think I would be able to go into an office every and leave her… I know that is just so so hard on new mommas. I am very fortunate for our situation right now.

She will just lay on her little play mat and stare at the fan while I workout.. it is wonderful. ๐ Doggies always nearby… ha!

She loves to snuggle us in our bed before it is time to go night night. It is the sweetest time of the day. The biggest change this month was her sleeping!!! She has been officially sleping through the night the last 2 or 3 weeks… I can’t remember, I am still trying to catch up on my sleep. ๐ She typically goes to bed around 9 (give or take an hour) and sleeps until around 6 (give or take an hour) so usually about 8 to 9 hours straight and wakes up to eat (I breastfeed her at this feeding) then goes back to bed until 8:30 or 9am. She just dropped her midnight and 3am feeding all in the same week and we are all loving it. ๐ I have no tips or tricks… we just follow her schedule for now and that has been working great. I was wondering how I was going to survive another night of not sleeping and then all of a sudden she just slept through the night.

Francy loves her Mimi!!

Jon planned a date night for us last week and had our friends babysit and we went to a nice dinner on the riverwalk. It was so nice to have a night to ourselves.

My mom dresses Francy up everyday. She finally has enough hair for a bow. My real life baby doll I always dreamed of. ๐

Francy got to go to her first high school football game and you guys, she loved it so much. She just watched the cheerleaders and loved looking around the entire time. She was so happy. She is now able to just sit in our laps and hold her head up by herself.

My mom had never been to Austin so last Saturday we took a day trip down there and got a nice lunch and then went on a little boat cruise. It was a nice little getaway.

Francy enjoyed the cruise too! ๐

Then we came home and were all exhausted. Ha! I told you she loves our bed. ๐

Francy doesn’t dislike much (she is a very easy baby, thank you Lord!!!) and actually enjoys tummy time most of the time. She dislikes sitting still, waiting for a bottle, or being cold after the bath – hey, I do too. ๐

That is all for now! I will leave you with this funny picture of Francy in this outfit my sister wore as a baby. As you can tell, we are all about the throw back outfits!! Too much fun!!

Another wonderful month with our girl and we just love every moment with her. She is just the sweetest thing and I can’t wait to see the fun changes this next month will bring!
I loved this post. Francy is so beautiful and I couldn’t be happier for all of you Taylor. Life sounds like it is going fabulous. Just thrilled to hear this.

Congratulations on three months of Francy motherhood and on y’all’s anniversary! Francy is so stinkin cute, she really does look like a real life baby doll! I can’t believe your maternity leave is up–it seems like you should still have a month or two! Just shows the baby time passes by too quickly for you and for those of us watching Francy grow from afar ๐ I hope the transition is still going well! I can see working from home being both a real blessing and a bit of a curse for this time of your life–how are you supposed to work and focus on not playing with the cutest baby doll right up the hallway?!
I can’t believe you get to dress her in your sister’s old baby clothes, how special! They’re so cute, too! Timeless baby fashion. Will she wear any of your old clothes soon? I hope your sister gets to see her in the clothes! Does she look like your sister at all? From my perspective (through the computer screen ha), she doesn’t look like a carbon copy of you or Jon, she’s just her own little beauty ๐ Congrats on all the Mimi help, it’s so nice you get extra family time and extra help!
And oh my goodness, that’s my high school! Happy to see that the football stadium hasn’t changed. The football team actually has some really great years, so hopefully this season will be one of them and y’all can join in! Do you think Francy will go to school there? It’s cool to see the next generation (hehe like two generations later, I’m getting old :D)! Also if y’all like to watch sports, Trinity has some good basketball games and the campus is beautiful just for a little walk.
Congrats again on everything going so well !Sorry it took me so long to comment but I think I’m caught up on your posts now and look forward to reading more about all you’re doing soon!

Thank you so so much. Sheโs just perfect. She really is such a great baby. We are so lucky.
I canโt believe my leave is over tooโฆ 12 weeks past by in the blink of an eye. Iโm so sad about it. Lol and yes. She is quite the distraction but thankfully her nanny is just so wonderful
So she is in great hands.
When we were in nashville last month my my gave us all my old baby clothes so francy will be sporting those soon! ๐ I actually see more of my sister in francy than I see myself. Itโs so funny.
Ahh you went to AH? How fun!! We are just a short walk away! It was so much fun I think we will have to do it again soon! Oh yes I would love for her to go to school there.. such a great one. Will have to check out some Trinity sports!!
I hope you are doing well!! Tell me whatโs new in your life!! Howโs everything going?? Anything fun coming up this fall? Iโve got some fun news to share very soon. ๐ no, Iโm not pregnant again LOL. Hope you have the best weekend!!

Yay I’m so glad Francy is in good hands and that you get to stay close to her (physically)!
Oh my goodness, I can’t wait to see baby fashion from three decades ago! I assume there are still a lot more of the ones with the lace flutters over the booty! I remember lots of that and then matching outfits with my mom seemed to be all the rage. Is there some matching mommy and me in store too?!
Yes! If you ever have questions about the school, let me know. Happy to talk about anything you need, just reach out by e-mail and I’ll send my phone number. My youngest sister actually graduated from there not too long ago.
My life is good, thanks for asking! I did a bit of a career shift and am at a much smaller place that has the energy of a start-up–and I’m loving it! We’re spending the fall settling back in now that we’ve moved back, so I don’t have any huge updates. Just continuing to settle back in and meet back up with people after having been away for a year plus. A couple of our friends are having babies this season so we’re riding circuit visiting them all ๐
I can’t wait to hear your news!! Not pregnant again–hahah!! I’m sure that’s the question all the time for you!
Have a great weekend!

๐ girl I need to get some mommy and me matching outfits! I donโt have any yet but need to get on that!
Oh wow! Thatโs so exciting. Change is hard but itโs always nice too. I bet that is so nice being back and getting to reconnect with friends. I feel like everyone is having babies right now.. I guess we are just at that stage of life.
๐ my husband literally wants another baby ASAP and Iโm like oh heck no! I need a couple years! Lol.
