Coffee Nook Project, 24 weeks and Pad Thai

Happy Wednesday friends!!! How is your week going? Did you have a nice weekend? We didn’t have too much on the agenda last weekend, but we were able to sneak out for a quick date night – the first in what feels like forever. We got a quick dinner outside and then went to a show at the comedy club to see Heather McDonald – she is my favorite. It was nice to go out and then only had your party (me and my husband) at your table so I would say it was at about half capacity. I am off for a quick checkup for Baby P this morning so let’s get to it!

I found the below wood coffee cup holder on Amazon and asked my husband if he could just make it for me if he had enough wood leftover from the whole table and he said yes.

He built it really quickly then I got to painting and decided my aqua/teal could be the accent color for this piece. 🙂

Then we got it moved into the house and all put together! We just attached the coffee sign to the back of the top of the table to secure it – super easy.

Then we waited for the hooks to arrive to complete the project! I really like how it turned out. I just have to figure out what else I will put on the table to complete the look.

I also ordered these little drawer organizers to organize the coffee pods and tea bags/sugar packets. This freed up a bunch of room in my kitchen drawers, which was a big added bonus!

Last week marked 24 weeks! We are slowly, but surely getting there! My belly feels huge already. I am at the point where I have to roll to my side when I am in bed to push myself up. LOL.

My husband and I both love thai food and we have quite a few favorite thai restaurants we order from frequently, but I decided last week we should just make our own. I made mine with tofu and his with chicken. It was really good, but honestly for all the effort, I would rather just pay for takeout. Ha! I am all about easy, simple meals with few ingredients.

Yall, this is my view every single time I walk to the bathroom. There is literally a line of doggies following my every move. I mean, it really is very cute, but can a girl get some privacy?? 🙂

I hope you all have the best day!!! I will be back soon!!!! XOXOXO
