Girls Trip to Puerto Vallarta Part 2!

Hey friends!!  I’m back for part 2 of our girls trip to Mexico!!

The sunrises and sunsets in Mexico were absolutely breathtaking.

On Sunday we booked a boat trip for the day.  It was an all day event from 8 to 3 so we were exhausted after it was over.

We cruised a bunch and they had tons of activities to do like snorkeling, scuba diving, paddle boarding, and kayaking.  A couple of us snorkeled and kayaked.

It was a beautiful day.  We had breakfast and lunch on the boat and endless drinks.

The cruise took us to a secluded island for an hour of lounging and riding on the banana boat.

The girls road the banana boat and I soaked up the sun on the beach because I was sooo into my book.  We had to swim to shore so I threw my book in a plastic bag so I could take it with me. 😉

I read The Party by Robyn Harding and Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris.  Both books were really good, but Behind Closed Doors was my favorite.

Girlies at the beach!!

Girls trips are good for the soul!  My husband had a boys lake trip while I was away.

After the boat, we spent the rest of the day at the pool.  We stayed at the Sheraton in PV, which was really nice.  My friend’s mom got us a great discount, which made it even better!

On Tuesday we headed back to San Antonio.  We were all sad to leave, but I was ready for my own bed!  We had the best time and I can’t wait for our next girls trip!

Questions:

  1. Read any good books lately?
  2. Any upcoming trips planned?
  3. Do you have any plans for the 4th?

  1. What a fun trip! Did you stay at an all inclusive hotel? Do you like staying at all inclusive hotels or do you prefer to stay at places where you go to different restaurants based on where you’re at?

    1. We stayed at the Sheraton, which was not all inclusive. Every other time I have been to Mexico I have stayed at all inclusive resorts. It’s just easier. But This time was super fun to explore outside of the resort a bit and try new restaurants. We didn’t have a bad meal. Hope you are having a great week, Lindsay!!
