Good morning!!! I hope your day is going well so far!! Mine started with a workout at home followed by a long walk with my pups and husband. We try to get as many walks in as we can and lately we have been incorporating a lot more long morning walk/runs with the doggies because it has been way too hot to do that in the afternoon. I’ve always been a morning exerciser, but my husband is another story. He used to be (and sometimes still is) one of those people who sleeps until the very last minute that he HAS to be up. 🙂 . Although I do hit snooze a time or two (my husband would say it’s more like 10 times ;)) I do like to be up and enjoy my morning rather than get up and have to immediately start getting ready for the day. I also really like my mornings that start with a workout and a walk with my pups because it helps me to wake up and I just feel better when I get my body moving first thing, especially on the days I am at a desk for most of the day.
On the mornings I do exercise first thing, I am really hungry by the time I get showered and ready for the day. My go-to quick breakfast that I can have on the go is still a big ole protein smoothie. My base of my smoothie usually stays the same and I switch up a couple things each day. One thing that has been consistently going into my smoothies is Greens Powder.
I’ve heard and read a lot about greens powder over the years, but only really started consistently using it a couple months ago (after my surgery) when I couldn’t really eat many greens because they were too hard on my healing stomach.
