Hi guys! I hope you all had a nice weekend! Mine was really nice and I sure was happy to be home this weekend. We flew home from Des Moines on Friday night and I realized that our last flight of the day was our 7th flight in 7 days… Whew! That is a lot of traveling and it isn’t letting up anytime soon.
Let’s back up a bit to last week. My husband had some traveling to do for work so Riley and I tagged along. I’ll apologize in advance for the crazy amount of puppy pictures in this post. I am not great at selfies and since Riley is my travel buddy, you get pictures of him. 🙂 Our first stop was St. Louis. Riley and I stayed busy at Forest Park all day while my husband worked. The weather was amazing.
The park is huge so we walked and walked and walked. There is a zoo, an art museum, tennis courts, a place to rent paddle boats, and so much more in this beautiful park.
This guy was in his happy place!
Especially when we found the water…
It was so nice out that we grabbed lunch and ate in the park.
Then we stumbled upon more water… and someone wanted to dive right in!
I uploaded two videos to my youtube channel of Riley drinking/trying to get in the water. Unfortunately, I don’t have a video of the 3 times he fell in the pond… 🙂
Monday night we got a yummy dinner at Wildflower and my little sidekick tagged along.
My husband got some type of brisket risotto and I got the salmon special that came on a nicoise salad. The next night we opted for Indian food take out. It was some of the best I have ever had.
This little guy was living the life.
We stayed right by the arch. I think the last time I had been to St. Louis was for a school trip in 8th grade. It was good to be back!
Wednesday we headed to Des Moines (my husband had to work) to visit my brother-in-law and see his new house. Riley loved it.
The first night we got Thai food that was delicious! I got an avocado green curry with tons of veggies. The portions were so big we all had enough for lunch the next day.
Since this post is getting rather lengthy, I will stop here and be back tomorrow for my weekend recap! Make today a good one! 🙂
Questions:
- How was your weekend?
- Do you like Indian or Thai food?
- Are you a fan of leftovers?
Wow you are a traveling machine! I love indian and thai food–depends on my mood! I only love leftovers for lunches the next day not like 45 times throughout a whole week haha

hahah yes, I hear ya on the leftovers. I get bored easily so I have to switch it up after I have leftovers once.
