Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? My weekend was really nice, but too short as always! Let’s back up to Friday and I’ll show you what happened around here the past few days.
During lunch on Friday, my husband and I had a date to workout. We completed this workout from Moorenutritious (find them on instagram!) in our garage and it kicked our butts. I am STILL sore from it. It is quick, but very efficient = my kind of workout!
And ofcourse, there was a long walk with the pups afterwards.
Friday afternoon we drove our cars to get Kroger gas (my mom lets us use her fuel points once in awhile and we get gas so cheap) and I took my two trash bags full of clothes to donate in hopes that I would find a drop box. Well, not only did I find a drop box to donate my clothes, but this particular one takes the clothing to a thrift shop that sells the clothing and all the profits go to the Texas Regional Animal Rescue. Rescuing animals is one of my greatest passions (all of my pups – past and present- are rescues) so I was so excited to donate my clothes!
We had plans to attend the Rangers game with my sister and her boyfriend on Saturday night, but when we saw some good seats pop up on Friday night for a good price, we snagged them up and headed to the stadium.
The Cleveland Indians were in town all weekend and I’ve been an Indians fan since I was little (my parents are from near there) so it was really fun to see them in Dallas.
We ended up leaving during the 9th inning when it was 12 to 1 (Indians).
After a quick treadmill run on Saturday morning, I went to watch my husband play tennis at SMU. It was extremely hot, but it was fun to watch. Tennis is a sport that I really wish I was good at.
We were both pretty exhausted Saturday afternoon so we watched a couple shows and took some naps 🙂 before heading to the Saturday night game with the crew.
Love these peeps!
We had seats in the nosebleeds, but it was still really fun!
This is what you call a fair-weather fan… My husband asked me who I was rooting for.. and I said whoever is winning. 😉
My sister and I in our Indians shirts and Rangers hats. 🙂
After the game, there was a free Scotty McCreery concert so we stayed for a little bit of that.
Sunday after church, we headed out to the lake for some relaxing in the sun with our pups!
Then we got ready for a sushi date night!
It was half-priced sushi night so we got a bunch of rolls to split and they were all amazing!!!
After dinner, we hurried home to watch the season finale of The Night Of. We didn’t quite finish it (I kept falling asleep), but gosh I am loving this show. It is soo good!! Off to get lots of stuff done today. I hope you all have a fantastic week!
Questions:
- If you could be really good at any sport, what sport would it be?
- Are you watching The Night Of?
- What was the highlight of your weekend?
Busy weekend!

Sounds like a fun weekend! Those sushi rolls look amazing! I’d love to be able to flip and tumble and do crazy flips like a pro gymnast!
