Hi guys!! I hope you had a good weekend!! We had an action packed weekend with my mother-in-law in town visiting. Today I wanted to recap our fun Saturday and tomorrow I will recap our Sunday because I took SO many pictures this weekend. Here we go!
Saturday morning we ventured over to the Dallas Aboretum to see the spring flowers and it was beautiful.
The colors were so pretty.
We even saw a couple brides along the way.
I love all the pink and purple flowers!
I love how you can see the lake behind the Aboretum. It makes for some really great views.
The squirrels at the Aboretum will come up very close to you as I guess they are used to humans.

The weather cleared up and we had a great time walking around for a couple hours!
Saturday we kept it low key with dinner in with my sister and her boyfriend. We started with a big salad of mixed greens, strawberries, craisins, carrots, walnuts, and avocado.
We had grilled salmon and asparagus, and roasted potatoes with Asiago and Parmesan cheese.

And ofcourse, dessert.
The night wouldn’t be complete without a game of Apples to Apples. My sister won (she always does!).
And the dogs were worn out from a long day of fun!
