Good Morning! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! We had quite the eventful weekend with a lot of relaxation thrown in as well. It was amazing. I just got back from a 6AM body pump class, which is always a great start to my week! I’ll leave you with some pictures from our fun weekend!
————————————————————————–
Sunday started with a big green smoothie with spinach, flax seeds, banana, frozen mango, pineapple, grapes, strawberries, and coconut water.
Yum!
And two rice cakes, with avocado and eggs on top (salt, pepper, and chili powder) a little later!
Ralph and Kalie sitting with my sister! too cute!
They love her!
Sunday we went downtown to go up Reunion Tower that oversees the entire city.
The ball has lights on the outside that light up for different holidays and sporting events in Dallas.
Me and the hubs.
Us and my brother-in-law.
The architecture inside the building was really neat!
The views from the observation deck at the top were pretty great. (I wanted to walk up it, but you have to ride an elevator.. so much for those extra steps!)
It’s a little hard to tell in the picture, but at the Omni hotel in the distance (the darker building), there were people swimming in the rooftop pool (let’s hope it was heated).
You can walk all the way around the sphere and see all angles of the city.
You can’t really see us, but the view is pretty great!
And again.
Inside you could play on these screens and we had fun trying to find our neighborhood.
Life-size Christmas ornaments outside the Omni hotel.
Lots to do today! Let’s make this Monday a good one!! Have a great week!
Questions:
- What did you do this weekend?
- Did you have any yummy meals?
- Do you have to work today or do you get the holiday off?
That smoothie looks great! This past week I had a sweet potato with wild friends PB which was awesome and a raspberry-banana-spinach smoothie bowl! I have today off from school which is nice. Hope you have a great day!

Great idea to add chili powder on top of eggs! I always like a little something spicy with my eggs, but haven’t tried this option yet.

That sounds like quite the enjoyable weekend and I’m glad you had a good time. I ran and PRed in a half this weekend (my first half Pr in a while) so I have no complaints. 😉
