Holiday travels and parties

Merry Christmas Eve (to those who celebrate)! We are just relaxing and enjoying time with family.

Here are some pictures from the last few days!

Riley, our little traveling pup!

Shopping and trying on bridesmaids dresses for my cousin’s wedding.  Isn’t my sister the cutest?

Riley loves my momma.

On Wednesday, we had a family Christmas dinner to attend so after some shopping, we cooked and cooked and cooked some more.

We made this recipe again because it was such a huge hit at the last party.

We also made a rice pilaf dish that was delicious.  It included fresh parsley, golden raisins, dried cranberries and pecans!

And ofcourse I have to bring a kale salad to all parties I attend 🙂

Christmas party fun!

Isn’t this tea set beautiful?

We played a few rounds of catchphrase and were all laughing so hard.  Then my husband got in a few cuddles with this sweet pup, Ginger!

I just love these life-size nutcrackers!

When we got home, we found James the elf, eating all our skittles!

Then James took it a little too far and said the Nashville Predators were not going to be any good this year… the Preds were not very happy with James.

James learned his lesson 😉

Off to go enjoy some time with family today!  I hope you do the same!

Questions:

  1. What are some of your favorite holiday traditions?
  2. Do you have an elf in your house?
  3. What are some healthy sides you like to bring to a party?
